About

A small local team, not an app with a call centre

We started WECARE because leaving your house and your animals with someone shouldn't feel like a gamble.

Most people going away have the same short list of worries. Is the house alright. Has anyone actually fed the cat. Are the tomatoes dead. Did the bins go out. None of those is a disaster on its own, but together they quietly spoil a fortnight off.

We answer all of them the same way: a real person visits, does the things you asked for, and then shows you. The photo report after every visit is the whole reason the business exists.

Why we stay small and local

We only cover ground we can cross in about twenty minutes. That's not modesty, it's how the promise works. If your boiler dies on a Tuesday, somebody has to be able to get there on Tuesday.

It also means we can usually send you the same carer each time. Animals notice. So do gardens, in their way — whoever watered yours last summer already knows which pots dry out first.

Who actually comes

Everyone is interviewed in person, reference checked, and holds a current enhanced DBS certificate that we track and renew. We match carers to jobs on experience rather than who happens to be free, so a nervous rescue dog gets somebody who has handled one before.

What we believe

1

Show, don't tell.

Photos and timestamps, every visit. You see the front door locked behind us.

2

Say it early.

Bad news reaches you the same day, not when you land.

3

One price, up front.

You see the whole breakdown before you pay a penny.

4

The same face.

The same carer whenever the diary allows it. Animals notice.
